Fitness Manager / Certified Personal Trainer

Adam Ward Degree and Certifications: ACE, BS

FITNESS MANAGER BIO

Adam Ward is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified personal trainer who specializes in weight training and plyometrics. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in 2012 and became a certified personal trainer shortly after. Adam has been involved in athletics throughout his entire life. During college, he was a basketball coach at an area school in Northwest Ohio. Upon graduation, he went on to become a junior varsity basketball coach before moving to Cincinnati to manage a Stay Fit 24 fitness center in Fairfield, Ohio. Adam has worked with a variety of members to help them achieve the results they were looking for. His favorite workouts include jump training (plyometrics), high-intensity interval training, and circuit training. It is his belief that certain traits need to be brought into any exercise program to obtain results and to get to the necessary place that you want to be. Some of these characteristics include, but are not limited to, perseverance, the ability to overcome complacency, and hard work. Moreover, if training is something that you seek, whether it be something as simple as basic guidelines and setting up a routine, or as advanced as training for a Tough Mudder or another athletic competition, he can help you get to where you want and need to be.   Some of his hobbies include watching the Cavaliers, Browns, and Indians, traveling to various metro parks in the Greater Cleveland Area, visiting family, watching movies, and further educating himself in the fitness industry. His favorite quote and words to live by are from the late collegiate basketball coach, Jimmy Valvano “You have to have an enthusiasm for life. You have to have a dream, a goal. And you have to be willing to work for it.”

Frank Kamp was born and raised right here in North Eastern Ohio and currently lives in Strongsville. Certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Frank Specializes in Strength and Hypertrophy training and is currently enrolled in a Group Training Specialization course. From a young age, he always loved the outdoors and physical activities such as skateboarding, biking, martial arts, motocross, and hiking. Once in Brunswick High School, Frank found a love for lacrosse and played for the Brunswick Lacrosse team from 10th-12th grade as an attackman. After high school, he put sports down and got involved in the construction trade and has done everything from commercial fiber cement siding, demolition, hardscapes, decorative concrete, and much more. Within those years he found a true passion for physical fitness and strength (main reason being that it made the labor much easier) but also because of the discipline and positive habits it built in all aspects of life. After a couple years of training and A LOT of research, Frank decided to attain a personal training certification and join the fitness industry to help others reach their physical, mental, and personal goals through the simple lessons taught from discipline, consistency, and commitment. Nowadays you can find the once construction grunt turned fitness professional training for future bodybuilding competitions and training anyone to reach their goals and beyond!

Josh Vago grew up here in Strongsville where he graduated from SHS in 2015. He is a recent graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Physical Education with a Concentration in Physical Activity and Sport Performance. His involvement in sport and fitness began through the game of basketball. He fell in love with the game and played throughout his junior year of high school. By his senior year, he was asked to assist in coaching the freshman team. It was a smooth transition from player to coach because he's always had a passion for serving others. As a 146-pound basketball player, he knew he wanted to build muscle and get stronger. From May of 2013 to May of 2016, he gained 74 pounds and fell in love with fitness. From there, he decided he wanted to help others achieve their fitness goals. He earned his National Academy of Sports Medicine personal training certification in March of 2017 and was hired at Stay Fit 24. He's always enjoyed playing and coaching basketball. As a former athlete, he loves training current athletes. His favorite aspect of fitness is lifting weights and building muscle because it is the area he can relate to the most and he is looking forward to learning more about fitness in the future.
